John R. (Jack) Hoy founded the company and was president until 1995 when his son, John G. Hoy, took the helm. John followed his father’s footsteps in the business and active membership in the Professional Land Surveyors of Ohio serving as Secretary, President, State Delegate, Newsletter Publisher and instructor in the survey school. He received the “Surveyor of the Year” award in 2003 and was Chairman of the 2011 State Conference.

A good design, development, project or plan starts with a boundary survey. Sometimes referred to as a “pin” survey, the property line survey is the basis of land surveying and mapping from individual residential properties to large commercial/industrial parcels and rural lands in the hundreds of acres. Planning Services

Whether our clients are creating an individual home site plan, designing urban redevelopment and infill projects, to planning large scale subdivisions, our goal is to find community oriented land planning solutions that allow the improvements to blend into the neighborhood and environment.

Several schools have us maintain current as-built campus surveys available for future planning or immediate design of improvements. We have also performed encroachment surveys for school systems, churches, real estate management companies and Cuyahoga County.

We’ve helped create Conservation and Wetland Easements for the Cuyahoga Water & Soil District and the Western Reserve Land Conservancy. Experienced with timber trespass situations.
